RockResist: Care and Use Instructions

How to Keep Your RockResist products in top condition:

Introduction

Athletic apparel plays an essential role in comfort, performance, and overall health
during sports and exercise. Proper care and use can extend their lifespan, maintain
their functionality, and keep you feeling fresh.

Wearing Athletic Socks

Choose the Right Size:

Make sure your athletic socks fit snugly but are not too
tight. Ill-fitting socks can cause discomfort and blisters.

Match to Activity:

Select socks designed for your specific sport or activity.
Running, mountain biking, golfing, walking (both you and the dog) and hiking
socks offer different levels of cushioning, moisture-wicking, and support.

Replace When Needed:

Athletic socks wear out over time. Replace socks that
have holes, thinning fabric, or have lost their elasticity.

Use Clean apparel:

Always wear clean apparel to reduce the risk of odor and in
the case of socks, athlete’s foot.

Washing Instructions

1. Read the Label:

Check the manufacturer's care label for any specific instructions.
o NOTE: Hand wash only (RockResist socks) clothes washers will
negatively impact the polyurethane barrier that provides the anti-debris
protection.
o This will also allow, when wet, to stretch the length of the sock if needed to
create more of a customized fit.

2. Turn Inside Out:

Wash apparel inside out to help remove sweat, dirt, and bacteria
from the inside fibers.

3. Use Cold or Warm Water:

Wash RockResist products in cold or warm water to
preserve elasticity and prevent shrinking. Avoid hot water, which can damage
synthetic fibers.

4. Mild Detergent:

Use a gentle detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as
these can break down performance fabrics and reduce moisture-wicking
capabilities.

5. Wash with Similar Colors:

Prevent color bleeding by washing apparel with similar
colors.

Drying Instructions

Air Dry Preferred:

Lay socks and apparel flat or hang them to air dry. This helps
maintain their shape and elasticity. NOTE: Using a clothes dryer will negate the
ability to return RockResist socks.

Avoid Direct Sunlight:

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may fade colors and
degrade materials.

Additional Tips

Store Properly:

Keep apparel in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in damp
gym bags to prevent mildew.

Rotate Usage:

Rotate between multiple pairs to reduce wear and tear.

Inspect Regularly:

Check socks for signs of wear and replace as needed to
maintain optimal support and comfort.

Conclusion

By following these care and use instructions, you can ensure your RockResist products
remain comfortable, supportive, and durable. Proper maintenance contributes to better
health and improves athletic performance.
